Who we are

Proxy Server (operator of proxyserver.tech) is the data controller for personal data collected through this site and dashboard.

Data we collect

• Account data — email, name, billing address, payment method (handled by Stripe; we never see card numbers)
• Usage data — proxy bandwidth, modem assignments, rotation events. Tied to your account ID, not your real-world identity.
• Support data — message content and metadata for any ticket you open with us
• Site analytics — anonymised page views, referrer, device type — only with your consent

Why we collect it

• To provide and bill the proxy service (legal basis: contract)
• To prevent fraud and abuse — see our anti-fraud policy (legal basis: legitimate interest)
• To improve the product (legal basis: consent — analytics only)
• To respond to legal requests (legal basis: legal obligation)

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share with:

• Stripe — payment processing
• IONOS — hosting infrastructure
• Google & Meta — only opt-in analytics & ads
• Law enforcement — only with a valid Mexican judicial order

Where we store it

Account and billing data: EU (Frankfurt) and Mexico (Mexico City) data centers. Backups encrypted at rest with AES-256.

How long we keep it

• Active account: as long as the account exists
• Closed account: 6 years (Mexican tax/CFDI requirements)
• Support tickets: 2 years after resolution
• Analytics: 14 months (Google Analytics default)

Your rights

Under GDPR (if EU/UK) and LFPDPPP (Mexico), you can request access, rectification, deletion, portability, and objection at any time. Email [email protected] — we respond within 30 days.

You can also file a complaint with INAI (Mexico) or your national supervisory authority (EU).
